Data included in a Tidepool account includes name, date of birth, diagnosis date, and diabetes device data. This data can be shared with another account, either personal or clinician. This data can be donated through Tidepool Big Data Donation Project. If a user opts in to donating their data, it is anonymized and de-identified. Further, only the user birth month and birth year, and diagnosis month and diagnosis year are associated with their donated diabetes device data.
