Display Tidepool instruction page as first step of Dexcom API workflow in popup window

Description

      1. ReadMe

  • Add "instructions" page to the pop window as a first step to the Dexcom API authentication/authorization workflow.

  1.

    1.

      1. Problem

  • When connection the Dexcom API to their Tidepool account, the end-user does not necessarily understand all of the caveats of data from the Dexcom API (particularly if they already have CGM data from Tidepool Mobile or Tidepool Uploader).

  • As an end-user, I want to understand what I'm actually doing when I click "Connect" for the Dexcom API. I want to know any caveats, issues, or problems that I might see.

I still think this is valuable, particularly for people who stumble upon the option without seeing any other links or explanation. In this case, one extra click shouldn't hurt. We can soften the language if necessary, but it should still prioritize Android users.

@paulforgione2, @csnider : Should we revisit or eliminating this?

I'm satisfied with the copy.

@paulforgione2 @csnider @brandonarbiter Please let me know when this is all ready for implementation (i.e. design and copy final). I will otherwise be moving on to other things when finished with my current task.

@darinkrauss I've put together V1 of a design for this based on the copy in the Helpscout article that @csnider has written. The exact copy may change, but the overall structure of the page should remain the same.

Leave any comments or questions on the Zeplin board please, and let me know if you'd like a redline.

@brandonarbiter @paulforgione2 Here is a Trello card for the new Dexcom API "instructions" page (the first page displayed in the popup window before the Dexcom login/authorization pages).

@paulforgione2 Please ping me when you have a design available that I can implement.

Can I get a yes or no on if this could be an intern task?

This could be done by and intern, but would likely be a bit of a challenge. The other challenge is that it needs to be done by a US employee, as the dexcom API connection only currently works with US dexcom accounts.
